The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of being the kingpin of the Delhi liquor scam. The BJP has released a statement detailing its allegations against Kejriwal, which include:
- Kejriwal was involved in meetings where the liquor scam was planned.
- Kejriwal spoke to liquor businessman Sameer Mahendru on FaceTime and told him that Vijay Nair, a leader of Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), was his “man.”
- Kejriwal’s government issued a notice to Mahendru’s company in October 2021, but took no action against the company after it responded.
- Kejriwal’s government changed the liquor policy in Delhi to benefit select business houses.

The BJP has also called on Kejriwal to answer five questions about his involvement in the liquor scam. These questions are:
- Why should you not be probed?
- Did you converse with Sameer Mahendru on the Facetime call?
- What is your relationship with the liquor traders?
- If your liquor policy was so good, then why was it withdrawn?
- What action did your government take against Mahendru’s company after it responded to the notice?

Kejriwal has denied all of the BJP’s allegations. He has said that he is “not afraid” of the CBI’s investigation and that he will “cooperate fully.” He has also said that the BJP is “trying to malign” his image because it is “afraid” of the AAP’s popularity.
The CBI is currently investigating the Delhi liquor scam. It is unclear whether Kejriwal will be arrested or charged with any crimes. However, the allegations against him are serious and could have a significant impact on his political career.

The Delhi liquor scam is a major scandal that has rocked the AAP government. It is important to note that Kejriwal has not been convicted of any crimes and is presumed innocent until proven guilty. However, the allegations against him are serious and should be investigated thoroughly.
The BJP’s allegations against Kejriwal are based on circumstantial evidence. However, the evidence is certainly suggestive. For example, the fact that Kejriwal spoke to Mahendru on FaceTime and told him that Nair was his “man” is certainly incriminating. Additionally, the fact that Kejriwal’s government changed the liquor policy in Delhi to benefit select business houses is also suspicious.

Of course, Kejriwal could simply be innocent. However, the evidence against him is certainly concerning. The CBI should continue its investigation and determine whether Kejriwal is guilty of any wrongdoing. If he is, he should be held accountable for his actions.
