Why should I add people on Instagram and Facebook that are being suggested to me as friends, especially if I don’t know them?
An article published the Hindustan times on 09 th June 2023 is saying the same and accusing Mark Zuckerberg for not taking action against pedophile and child pornography. Facebook and Instagram generates billions of dollars for Mark Zukerburg but these platforms are not safe for children. I didn’t understand the government’s stand as they are not forcing or blocking child pornography content on these platforms.

Governments around the world have different approaches and regulations in place to address these issues, but enforcement and effectiveness can vary.

Social media companies like Facebook and Instagram also have a responsibility to enforce their community guidelines and policies, including taking action against accounts or content related to child exploitation.
